This meme sums up where Western society is right now, especially in the US. Message aside, I couldn’t help but notice that despite the person’s clear thinking, it also demonstrates how deep our collective programming runs. That person didn’t just see an apple. Their subconscious saw Apple, the corporation.
I thought I'd be able to rest and stay away, but it seems even fasting can't keep me from writing. I saw a video that inspired this post, and I'll share it with you below.
But first, I should explain that as soon as the media or establishment politicians brand someone a "right-wing extremist," a "racist," or a "Nazi," I know they're trying to get me to look the other way. To not listen to what that person has to say.
It's a way of talking down to the public as if we cannot decide for ourselves what someone else's words and actions mean. Unfortunately, a portion of the public no longer can. They do and think as they're told.
However, if you're reading this and you enjoy my writing, my guess is that your critical thinking faculties are fully intact. Not because you necessarily agree with everything I say but because you know I am an incessant question-asker who does not blindly toe the line of mainstream narratives. There's plenty of propaganda in the world already. I don't need to add to it.
So, why do they try to cancel people out of existence with denigrating labels? When I explore these "canceled" people, it often seems that they threaten the establishment's power. Does that mean I automatically agree with the canceled folks? No. But it does mean that I'll give them a closer look to see whether their actions and words match the postmodern "scarlet letter" they're being assigned.
One individual European and other Western "leaders" and media have taken a particular interest in slandering is the newly elected Prime Minister of Italy—the first woman, I might add. They've called her a right-wing extremist for more than a year and even likened her to Mussolini.
This, of course, made me more interested in her than I would've been otherwise. From where I stand, she has some sensible stances. For starters, she promotes using cash to strengthen local economies instead of debit and credit cards ("digital money") as those cost businesses transaction fees, taking money out of the community.
She also believes that a woman's right to choose should include the woman's right to keep the child, even if she can't afford to do so. She believes that Italy needs to help families thrive in this devastating global economy, especially since the country's population has been steadily declining for decades.
Towards the end of last year, French President Emmanuel Macron attacked Meloni over her stance on migrants. (The migrant crisis in Europe might need a separate article.)
Her response was nothing short of astounding. It sent chills down my spine. Listen for yourself.

In my opinion, that is what power looks like. Real power. Power that comes from speaking the truth. If this woman, who believes in ending colonialism, is a right-wing extremist, I guess I am one too.
She shines a light on one of the darker and more harrowing truths that most people have no idea about. Of course, The Powers That Be (TPTB) bury their dirty deeds well. For the most part, the education systems of the world—government propaganda camps—do not teach us the knowledge and skills that would empower us. That would be counter-productive, after all.
If Westerners really knew how monstrous their governments are and have been for centuries, TPTB would lose their grip on us.
And well, it seems that is what’s happening and has been happening for the last several years. It’s a gradual drip that looks like it will soon become a flood.
The more their heinous crimes are brought to light, the more the rest of us—no matter race, religion, nationality, or creed—will stand together and say No more.
